London has a large amount of places to stay to suit every budget. A number of providers offer accessible accommodation. We hope this list of options will help you arrange your stay for WCLDN 2019.

Our suggestions include places which are within walking distance or an underground (tube) journey from the event venue at London Metropolitan University (postcode N7 8DB).

Other London accommodation

You can search Visit London’s Where to Stay Guide for options including self-catering, Bed & Breakfasts (B&Bs), hotels and hostels. There is even a selection to suit those who want to book caravan or camping accommodation within reasonable commuting distance of the venue.

AirBnB has extensive accommodation across London.

There are a number of hotels in the vicinity of Finsbury Park underground and King’s Cross underground and overground stations which are all within 10 minutes ride on the Piccadilly line.

We also suggest considering other chain hotels in the Central London area. Here are a few to get you started.

At the time of publication, many of the Accor Hotel group had availability for wheelchair adapted rooms. They have advised they can arrange accommodation near to lift access and assistance with bags for those with mobility difficulties.

 

In response to specific enquiries from attendees planning to drive to London from other parts of the UK together with family members and the dog. Some providers including Accor’s Novotel hotels have rooms which allow well-behaved, clean and vaccinated dogs. Pets should not be left unattended in rooms. Visit London, Booking.com and similar sites have search filters for dog-friendly accommodation.

Accessible accommodation

Many London accommodation providers have accessible and wheelchair friendly rooms. Many of the hotel search sites have filters for wheelchair accessible rooms and some list providers who have provision for those with sensory or sight needs.

Cycle-friendly accommodation and cycle hire in London

We have had lots of enquiries about accommodation suitable for storing bicycles in London to travel to tourist locations in the capital. Some hotels and guest houses will permit bike storage. We advise you to check directly with your accommodation before booking for their latest availability.

London Cycle Hire Scheme can be used by visitors to the city.
