Opening Times:
Saturday 07:30 – 10:00
Saturday 17:30 – 19:30
Sunday 10:00 – 11:00
Sunday 15:30 – close.

Activities Room

On the ground floor of the Graduate Centre (the middle building) there will be an activities room. Here you will find our #WCLDN happiness bar (manned during all breaks and lunches). If you need a little help with something WordPress-y, pop along and get some input from a friendly person.

Calm Room

Room TG-03

The calm room will be open to all attendees who would like a quiet space to have a few minutes for themselves. Just like a quiet coach on the train, you can concentrate knowing that no one will talk to you.

The room will be accessible during the following times:

Saturday 9 April 2019: 08:00 – 19:00
Sunday 10 April 2019: 10:00 – 16:30

Please do not use the room for any loud activities as this is the only room we’ve reserved for ‘official quietness’ and we would like to protect that.

Childcare & Lactation Rooms

Once again you can arrange childcare at WordCamp London, provided by professional mobile childcare company – Nipperbout Ltd. To make use of the service, you will need to have purchased a childcare ticket. Read more about childcare.

Ten spaces have been allocated for under-16s and currently there is space on each day. If you have planned a babysitter and plans fall through, you are welcome to bring your child and take them into the sessions with you.

The lactation room is GCG-10, next door to the childcare.

Swag

Not a t-shirt, but in keeping with the sustainability focus this year we’re providing reusable aluminium water bottles and hot drink cups with just the W logo, plus a WCLDN 2019 tote bag to put them in! Of course if you would prefer to bring your own, please do. Any swag not used will be passed on to other WordCamps – minimising the waste! And your lanyard – regulars may well have a collection by now – so feel free to bring one with you to wear, then we can just forward any we don’t use to the next Camp…

Travel Updates

Latest known travel updates will be available at Latest Travel Updates from Transport for London

Help during WordCamp

Our wonderful volunteers all have their tasks for the weekend but will also be glad to guide you whenever necessary. You will spot them wearing green t-shirts with yellow logo. We will add a photo here when available.

Friday WCLDN Social

We’re getting together at Drake and Morgan at Kings Cross and you are all welcome. The venue offers step-free access and is fully accessible. We will be there from about 18:00,more details here.

Saturday “After-Party”

Yes, we know it’s not actually “after” but between, but… 😉

Where: The Rocket Room (details here)
When: Saturday 14 April 2019, 18:30 (dinner from 19:30)

As in previous years, we will be providing two drinks tokens that can be exchanged for a house wine, a beer or cider, or a soft drink.

So much fun was had last year, with the board games kindly brought in by attendees, that we’re doing it again! Playing cards, Connect4, Jenga and Monopoly were just a few of the games people enjoyed. So if you have something you can bring for us to play, please do! And thank you.

Photography and Social sharing

We have a few volunteers wandering around capturing everything they can of our WordCamp. If you would like to share your pics please tag us with #WCLDN – thank you. And if you notice someone wearing a RED lanyard – they’d rather not be photographed so please respect this.

We are very excited now and working hard to remember all the things… Charge everything you need charged, bring everything you need to bring (and share your tips below, perhaps, with fellow Campers) and we will see you at the weekend!
